介绍
膀胱阴道瘘或VVF是在膀胱（或膀胱）和阴道之间延伸的异常瘘管，其允许尿液连续无意排出到阴道穹窿中。

除了来自这些瘘管的医学后遗症之外，它们通常对患者的情绪健康产生深远的影响。

原因
这可能是先天性出生状况的结果，如VATER或VACTERAL。它通常由分娩引起（在这种情况下称为产科瘘），当长时间的劳动将未出生的孩子紧紧压在骨盆上时，切断血液流向膀胱阴道壁。受影响的组织可能坏死（死亡），留下一个洞。

阴道瘘也可能是由特别暴力的强奸案引起的，特别是那些涉及多个强奸犯和/或外来物的情况。刚果民主共和国等国家的一些保健中心已开始专门从事阴道瘘的手术修复。[1] [2]

治疗
通常经阴道或腹腔镜修复膀胱阴道瘘，尽管经过多次经阴道手术的患者有时会通过大腹部切口或剖腹手术进行最终修复。

腹腔镜（微创）VVF修复方法由于其更高的可视性，更高的成功率和更低的并发症率而变得更加普遍。[4]

历史
在19世纪之前，受过VVF影响的女性被严厉审判并被社会拒绝。整个19世纪，VVF的治疗受到限制，因为妇科学的实践被视为禁忌。医生在这个时候几乎完全是男性，看着裸体女性，即使是出于医疗目的，也被视为与19世纪的价值观不同。[6]

当时最著名的妇科医生之一是J Marion Sims博士，他在19世纪中期开发了一种治疗VVF的成功技术，并被誉为妇科学的先驱。
