在Trendelenburg体位，身体仰卧，或平放在背部15-30度的斜面上，双脚高于头部。类似地，反向的Trendelenburg体位使身体仰卧，但头部现在正在升高。

Trendelenburg体位用于外科手术，特别是腹部和泌尿生殖系统。当重力将腹内器官拉离骨盆时，它允许更好地进入盆腔器官。证据不支持其在低血容量休克中的应用，担心对肺和脑的负面影响。[1]

反向Trendelenburg的位置
Trendelenburg体位可用于治疗静脉空气栓塞，将右心室流出道放置在右心室腔下方，使空气向上迁移到右心室内空气不太可能栓塞的位置。[3 ]
最近，反向Trendelenburg体位已被用于微创青光眼手术，也称为MIGS。这个位置通常用于一个优秀的坐姿外科医生，它使用向下的患者倾斜，大约30到35度的组合，显微镜以相同的角度向自身倾斜，以及术中的角膜晶状体或棱镜，使他们可以看到下小梁网。可以通过适当的前房来对地球进行一些快乐，以便将网状物带入视野。
