子宫的圆韧带起源于子宫中的子宫角。圆韧带通过深腹股沟环离开骨盆，[2]穿过腹股沟管并继续到大阴唇[3]，其中纤维扩散并与阴阜组织混合。

结构
发展
圆形韧带从子宫发育而来，将性腺连接到胚胎中的阴唇肿胀[1]。

血液供应
圆韧带由圆韧带动脉提供，也称为“Sampson's动脉”。

功能
圆韧带的功能是在怀孕期间维持子宫的前屈（子宫的底部在子宫颈和阴道的交界处向前转的位置）。通常，主要韧带是什么支持子宫角（前倾角）。当子宫在怀孕期间生长时，圆韧带会拉伸而引起疼痛。[4]
