转子间嵴是位于股骨头后侧的骨嵴，从大转子的顶端向小转子斜向下和向内延伸。

髋关节囊（扩张）。 后方。 （转子间嵴标在右下角。）
与头部前侧的股骨转子间线一起，牙冠标志着股骨颈和股骨轴之间的过渡。 嵴的中间和近端三分之间的高度称为方形结节[1]。 嵴的上半部分形成大转子的后缘。
股骨上的远端囊状附件遵循头部和颈部之间的不规则边缘的形状。 因此，髋关节囊在前侧的股骨粗隆间线区域内，但手指远离头部后侧的转子间嵴。[2]
